Wanting Again · Track Two

Desire didn't die. It's been waiting.

A twelve-week program for couples rebuilding physical and sexual connection after betrayal — built on the understanding that your body has been doing its job all along.

The Reframe

Nobody talks about this part.

Your body has been doing its job. Now let's introduce you to each other — so it can start working toward what you actually want.

There's a great deal of help available for the weeks right after discovery. The crisis. The questions. The decision about whether to stay.

And then there's the part nobody prepares you for — the part that arrives months later, when the worst of it has passed and you're still here, still together, still trying. When you've done the hard work of telling the truth and hearing it. When you've rebuilt something that genuinely resembles a life.

And you still can't stand to be touched.

Or you can, and you feel nothing. Or you want to and can't understand why you want to. Or you reach for your partner and watch them go somewhere else. Or nobody reaches at all anymore, and the silence about it has become its own thing in the house.

Here is what almost everyone concludes about that: something is broken.

Something in the marriage. Something in your partner. Something in you.

We want to tell you plainly that we don't think that's what happened.

What happened is that your body was paying attention.

It watched what took place. It filed away every detail it could — a tone, an hour, a touch at a particular angle — and it built a map of where the danger was. And now, correctly and efficiently, it steers you away from all of it.

That's not a malfunction. That's a body doing precisely the job it has. The problem isn't that the machinery broke. The problem is that it's working from an old map, and nobody has ever given it new information.

You cannot argue with it. You can only show it.

That's why this program takes twelve weeks, and why it moves in the order it does.

You will spend the first month learning what your own body actually does and why — not to fix it, but to be able to read it. You'll find out which of five doors you go through under threat, and discover you've been misreading your partner's for years. You'll learn to catch an alarm four seconds before it takes you.

Then you'll teach each other what you found.

Only after that does anything physical happen — and when it does, it starts with a hand, fully clothed, going nowhere at all. It stays that way for weeks. Not because we think you're fragile, but because a body only believes what it experiences repeatedly, and it has to experience being touched without anything being asked of it before it will believe that's possible.

Nothing in these twelve weeks will ask you to want anything you don't want.

You will not be talked into anything. You will not be given a schedule to meet. There is no week where you're expected to have arrived somewhere.

What you'll be given is a language for what's happening inside you, a way to say it out loud, and enough evidence — gathered on real evenings, at your own pace — that your body can start to update what it believes about this person and this room.

Desire didn't die. It went somewhere safe, and it has been waiting for a reason to come back.

This is how you give it one.

The Method

Twelve weeks. Nothing skipped.

The work moves in order for a reason. You learn your own signals before you share them. You share them before anyone is touched. Nothing arrives before you've been prepared for it.

Weeks 1 – 4

Recalibrate

Understanding what your body learned, why it responds the way it does, and how to read it before it takes over.

Week 1

Story of Me · What's Your Threat Response

Where your sexual self actually came from, written in seasons. Then the five doors your body goes through under threat — and why your alarm has almost never been lying.

Week 2

The Cycle · Boundaries

Mapping the loop you've been running blind, and finding the exits in it. Then the difference between what you can control and what you can only ask for.

Week 3

Learn Your Signals

Catching the alarm before the story arrives — the widest exit in the cycle. Plus a rest stop for anyone whose body isn't a safe place to visit yet.

Week 4

Be Brave in Sharing

Everything comes out of the drawer. Four sittings, in order, with a listener who does nothing but hear it.

Weeks 5 – 8

Reconnect

Building a daily habit, giving the betrayal its own room, and the first touch — structured, clothed, and going nowhere.

Week 5

FANOS · Revisit

Ten minutes a night, every night, for the rest of the program. Then the betrayal gets its own room — with a real choice about how much of it you take on.

Week 6

What You Stopped Asking

The file you have on your partner stopped updating years ago. Two conversations to open it back up.

Week 7

Touch, Part One — Giving and Receiving

Hands, feet, face, back. Fully clothed. One person gives, one receives, and nothing leads anywhere.

Week 8

Touch, Part Two — Caressing and Water

Whole-body caressing and sensual bathing. Clothing becomes a choice — announced, not negotiated.

Weeks 9 – 12

Rebuild

Being seen, being touched everywhere, and finally being handed back the choosing.

Week 9

Show and Tell

Uncovered, in real light, speaking about your own body — while nobody touches you. Known first, wanted second.

Week 10

Touch, Part Three — Everything on the Map

The last of the fenced-off territory opens. Still nothing aimed at, still nothing owed.

Week 11

Touch, Part Four — Both at Once

The roles blur, the rule changes, and there's an exercise designed to make you laugh.

Week 12

Coming Together

One of you plans an evening the other doesn't know about. Then you choose, together, what to do again.

Getting Started

Where are you coming from?

Couples arrive at this work from two different places. Both are common, both are welcome, and the program itself is the same either way — but it's worth knowing which one you are before you begin.

Entry point one

After Disclosure

The truth has been told. Maybe through our disclosure program, maybe with a therapist, maybe in a way nobody planned. What matters is that the facts are on the table and you're no longer waiting to find out what happened.

This is the most common way people come to Wanting Again. The hardest conversation is behind you, and what's left is the part nobody warned you about — the distance that stayed after the truth arrived.

Entry point two

On Your Own

There may not have been a single moment of discovery. Some couples find their way here after years of quiet disconnection, a slow drift, or something that was addressed once and never really repaired.

You do not need a betrayal in your history to do this work. If touch has become complicated between you and neither of you knows how it got that way, this program was built for that too.

Before You Begin

What you need to know.

Yes. This is not a program one person can complete on behalf of a couple. Roughly half the exercises require both of you in the room, and the ones that don't still depend on your partner having done the same work in parallel.

If only one of you is willing right now, that's real information and it isn't a failure. Individual coaching is available, and it's often the better starting place.

No. Wanting Again is a structured coaching program built on clinical understanding, not a substitute for treatment. We don't diagnose, we don't treat trauma, and we're clear throughout about when something needs a licensed professional rather than a course.

Many couples do this alongside therapy, and the two work well together. If you're already seeing someone, tell them you're starting this — the material gives them something concrete to work with.

You have eight weeks before anything physical begins, and when it does, it starts with a hand while fully clothed. Every step after that is announced well in advance, and every one of them can be declined, paused, or repeated.

There is also a rest stop built into the program — a place to pull over for as long as you need without leaving. Some couples spend an extra month somewhere. That's not falling behind. That's using the program correctly.

No. Twelve weeks is the shape, not a deadline. Plenty of couples take four or five months, and the ones who take the time they actually need tend to get further than the ones who pushed.

Access doesn't expire. Every week stands on its own and can be repeated any time — next month, or in four years.

If one of you is still holding information the other doesn't have, yes — that needs its own structure, and it should happen before this. Wanting Again is not built to carry a disclosure, and attempting one inside these exercises causes real damage.

If the truth is already known between you, however it arrived, you're ready for this regardless of how formal that process was.

Approximately six hours with a Soteria guide, scheduled around the weeks that tend to be hardest — the first sharing week, the week the betrayal is addressed directly, and the transition into physical work.

Your guide knows the material and your situation, so sessions start where you are instead of with a recap. Additional hours are available at $250 per hour, the same rate for every guide on our team.

Yes, and it's a common way in. Some couples know from the start that they want someone alongside them. Others get to Week 4, or the turn into physical work, and decide they'd rather not do the next part alone.

You can move to the Guided track at any point in the twelve weeks. You pay the difference between the two — not the full price a second time — and you pick up exactly where you left off. Nothing resets and no week has to be redone.

You can also book individual hours at $250 without changing tracks. The difference is continuity. Booked hours are standalone sessions, and part of each one goes to bringing someone up to speed. A guide on the Guided track already knows what came out in Week 4, which door your partner goes through under threat, and what the two of you decided to sit with longer — so the session starts where the last one ended.

Then you'll know that, and you'll know it for real reasons rather than through a fog.

We're not going to promise you an outcome. What this program is built to produce is choice — the ability to tell the difference between a body protecting you from an old danger and a decision you actually hold. Some couples find their way back to each other. Some find clarity they didn't have. Both of those are more than what you have now, and neither of them is failure.

You've read this far for a reason.

Something in what you read described your house. That doesn't obligate you to anything today — but it does mean this isn't as mysterious or as permanent as it has felt. There's a path through it, it starts smaller than you think, and you don't have to be ready for all twelve weeks to be ready for the first one.
