You feel broken. Your heart was full and the next second it was smashed to pieces. Many, many pieces all over the ground. You know some of it. You do not know how much is left, and you don’t know where to start. That is its own personal hell. Every new piece restarts the whole thing. Every answer he gives, you question.
You may be furious. You may be numb. You may feel like you are bleeding out on the side of the road. You may be fine at work and coming apart in the car. All of that is what this looks like.
Disclosure & Repair is a structured way to get the whole truth once. Complete, in writing, on a day you both prepared for. Not in pieces. Not as a confession that happens a thousand different times. Not for months, whenever you happen to ask the right question.
It does not make the truth hurt less. It ends the not-knowing, and it puts you both, maybe for the first time in a long time, in the same reality. A place you thought you were.
You are reading this too, or you will be. You should be. This program asks more of you than it asks of her. It asks for all of it, the first time: what happened, when, and how it was hidden. She deserves that from you. She deserved it from the beginning.
A fast disclosure is a smaller one, and we will not help you build a smaller one. What we will do is give you a structure for telling the truth that does not depend on you getting it right at midnight in the kitchen.
You could ask him tonight. He would tell you something. It would be what he can stand to say, in the order he can stand to say it, and you would be left where you already are: wondering what is still missing. That wondering is torture.
A faster answer does not end that. A complete one does. Every part of the history, written down, checked for what was left out, and given to you once. Not everything he remembers tonight. Everything. You deserve that.
That is what this program builds. It is finished when the account is complete, and not before.
Every lesson marks your work and his work. Each of you can read what the other is being asked to do. That is deliberate. That is transparency. The only thing you do not see before the day is the document itself, so that you hear it whole and not in fragments. We said the fragments were torture and we believe it.
You can’t build on shaken ground. Before anything is written, the two of you agree on what holds this: what gets talked about now and what waits, who each of you has for support, what to do when it surges. You do not have to be calm. That is an impossible and entirely unfair ask of you. Especially after all of this. Nothing here asks you to be.
This is the center of the program.
Your work: your questions, every one of them. If you have ninety, he answers ninety. You also write down what you noticed over the years and were told you were imagining. It is not only the lie that hurts. The manipulation that made you feel crazy does real damage too.
His work: the full written account. What happened, when, how it was hidden, and who else knew. It is built category by category, and the empty spaces are written as empty, because a gap and a zero look identical on a page. You deserve to know the difference between a gap and a zero.
The day itself. He reads the whole account aloud, in his own voice, while you follow on your own copy. You can stop at any point without explaining why. You will have planned who is in the room and what the hours afterward look like. Then comes a follow-up, where your questions are answered and you check his account against your own record, item by item.
Truth opens the door. Repair is what you build on the other side. This is where you tell him what it cost you, aloud, and he answers what you actually said. It is where your right to look is established and he starts telling you things before you ask. You do not arrive at the end. You arrive at the beginning.
Arrival is included in Walk With Me and All the Way Through. It is also available on its own as The Other Side.
The program, at its heart, is the same at every level. Same lessons, same lanes, same standard for complete. What changes is what the other side looks like and how many of the hard moments have someone in them sitting with you.
Truth opens the door. Repair is what you build on the other side. This is Arrival on its own: six self-guided lessons for couples who have the truth and have not yet repaired. It begins by checking that the disclosure you had was complete, because repair built on a partial picture does not hold.
See The Other SideYou have been carrying this by yourself, checking every answer against the one before it. There is a way to get the whole truth, once, with people standing in it with you.
Start where you are. If you are not sure which level fits, ask us first.
