Built on lived experience. Grounded in clinical reality. Designed for the people who deserve more than generic guidance.
Soteria was born from the kind of pain that changes you. The clinicians behind this program have sat with betrayal, not just professionally but personally. We know what it feels like to have the ground disappear beneath you. To not know who to trust, what to believe, or how to take the next step.
What we also know is that healing is possible. Not the kind that pretends nothing happened, but the kind that's built on truth, carefully and intentionally told. We saw too many couples trying to navigate disclosure alone, without structure, without support, and without a clear path forward. The damage that caused is what drove us to build something different.
Soteria exists because we believed that truth, when shared with safety and care, doesn't have to destroy. It can rebuild. Every program we've created is built on that belief and on the lived understanding that the people who come to us deserve more than generic guidance. They deserve a structured, human, clinically grounded path through one of the hardest things they will ever face.
Soteria is built on a trauma-informed foundation because what happens after betrayal isn't just relational damage, it's a full blow to the nervous system. The person who discovered the truth, the person who broke it, and the coupleship itself are each left carrying something distinct. Our work acknowledges all three.
We don't believe healing requires pretending the damage didn't happen. We believe it requires truth, told with care, received with support, and processed with structure. That's what every program and service we offer is built around.
There is hope here at Soteria. Our job is to hold it for you until you are ready for it.
Healing after betrayal rarely moves in a straight line and no two people arrive here from the same place. Some are in the direct aftermath of a devastating pain. Some are deep in the messy middle of it. Some are ready to move forward but don't have a map. Soteria's pathways are designed around that reality. Wherever you are in this journey, days or years in, we have a pathway for you. Structured, supported, and built to last.
A structured, five-phase path through the hardest moment of your relationship. From the moment truth surfaces to what gets built after it, supported at every step.
Explore Disclosure & Repair →Intimacy after betrayal doesn't just require willingness. It requires your body to feel safe again, on your own terms and timeline.
Explore Wanting Again →Not every relationship finds its way back and you may not know if you want it to. This pathway holds space for that question while helping you find your answer — yours, not ours.
Explore Should I Stay →For the partner who broke the trust, this pathway was built for the work only you can do. Accountability and support aren't opposites. A path for you, if you are ready to face what happened and the work ahead of you.
Not sure which pathway is yours or waiting for one to launch? Individual and couples coaching is available now and at any point in your journey. Direct, personalized support for wherever you are.
Learn about coaching →Are you a clinician or coach working with betrayal in your practice? Soteria Institute offers specialized training in betrayal trauma and disclosure work because your client deserves someone who knows how to hold this with them.
Explore clinician training →Betrayal recovery is a field with very little regulation and a great deal of confident advice. Here is what actually sits behind this work.
Soteria is built and led by licensed clinicians with decades of experience in trauma, betrayal, and couples work. Every program is written and reviewed by a clinician — not adapted from general recovery content or assembled from what performs well online.
The Soteria Method is a defined five-phase framework: Stabilization, Documentation, Disclosure, Repair, Integration. You always know which phase you are in, what it is for, and what comes next. Nothing here is improvised while you are in it.
Through Soteria Institute, we provide disclosure and betrayal trauma training to licensed therapists and coaches. The framework guiding your program is the same one we teach to professionals doing this work in their own practices.
Most people arrive here without a clear sense of what they need. That isn't something to figure out before reaching out — it's the first thing we help you sort out.
